We looked at Facebook’s audience by country and compared 6/15 data to 6/21 (their data seems to update 2 or 3 times a week at this level). During the week, Facebok added 1.66 million users across 212 countries and territories. The biggest gainers were India, the Philippines and Brazil in absolute terms. India’s growth represents a full percentage point increase, and stunning growth. While the US lost the most in absolute terms over the week, it is still fairly insignificant on a percentage basis (the US is the largest Facebook country).
